Scattered across the vast land, you'll find two other Magma Wyrm bosses to watch out for. But you will notice a definite change of scenery with its own boss arenas working against you. Because of this, we decided that this guide should be dedicated to defeating all the Magma Wyrm bosses in the Elden Ring.

Magma Wyrm Makar is located in the ruined chasm to the northLiurnia of the Lakes. The boss fight is optional and you can reach the Atlas Plateau by interacting with Grand Lift or Dectus. You can summon Spirit Ashes or online players to help you in battle. Other than that, you can summon the NPCGreat Ear of Tragothand alsoGreat Boggart of the Blackguardif you completed his quest and didn't kill him. Defeating the boss will reward you with one.Curved greatsword and dragon heart.which you can use in the Cathedral of the Communion of Dragons in Caelid.
The other Magma Wyrms can be found later in the game. One is in the Gael Tunnel in the Caelid region, the other near Fort Laiedd on Mount Gelmir.You can access the latter from the Seethewater Terminus grace site, while you can access the Gael Tunnel entrance from the Rotview balcony grace site.. You can find it in both places.Alexander, the living glassas part of your quest, though Mount Gelmir will be there after you defeat Radahn (it can be found deeper in the lava pool).

Magma Wyrm Attacks
Most of the boss's attacks are easily dodgeable and don't deal much damage. However, there are variations in the attacks, which makes for a fun but frustrating boss fight. Note that for the Magma Wyrms on Caelid and Mount Gelmir, one of the main problems is the boss arena.The latter is in a pool of lava, while the Caelid's is in an extremely narrow chamber..
keep it in mindOnly the Magma Wyrm found on Caelid will not stand upright in the second phase..

The boss will attack the player while spewing magma below.
Change: Dodge just as the boss approaches and stay away from the magma trail.
melee cut
Magma Wyrm sweeps the area away from the player with his melee weapon and moves back slightly.
Change: Backtracking before attacking can prevent damage.
Magma-Athem
The boss stops and raises its head to fill its throat with magma. He then squirts magma into the area for a few seconds.
Change: Dodge to the right and keep running in the same direction to avoid it.

Magma Wyrm swings the weapon with both hands, knocking down the player below.
Change: Dodge back as the attack covers both sides.
Magma-jas
In the second phase, the boss will stop and cover his weapon with magma.
Change: Make sure you are not directly below where the magma falls.

The boss uses his weapon to slide his weapon towards the player.
Change: This should only be avoided at the last moment and not before either side, as the attack can be tracked well.

strategies
There are two main strategies for this fight: the first is the melee strategy, which focuses mainly on staying close to his tail, or the long-range strategy, where you use the pillar to lower his health bar.
melee strategy
The melee strategy requires you to stay close to the boss's tail. The boss has some slam attacks when you're directly under it, so tail hugging can be very helpful. You can also summon online players or NPCs to help you in battle. Great Horned Tragoth uses a hammer, which doesn't do much damage but throws off the boss's balance relatively quicker.
The boss is quite weak against attacks aimed at its head. This upsets his balance, resulting in a critical hit.
The main thing to keep in mind is to stay away from the spewing magma. Standing on magma will make you fatten up and take damage over time. However, this is particularly important for the Magma Wyrm on Caelid. But for the Magma Wyrm in Mount Gelmir, it is highly recommended to use Torrent for this fight, as well as Spirit Ash as Lhutel the Headless. IsIt is imperative that you move the Mount Gelmir Magma Wyrm away from its lava pool.to avoid damage.
Equip Rowa Fruit/Golda Rowa for the Battle of Mount Gelmir, while Torrent is taking lava damage.

The distance strategy is simpler in comparison. All you need is a little long-distance magic and you're good to go. The ability to summon spirit ashes will make your fight easier. The NPC Great Horned Tragoth can also be useful, as he can stack aggro while he attacks your spells from behind.
You can use the center pillar to keep the boss moving and not attacking much.
When you face the boss later in the game, you can cast spells likeblue kiteto deplete your health bar. It consumes a lot of mana, but if you have itsky blue hidden tearyou can drink thatwonderful bottleand cast the spell for more than ten seconds when you are not disturbed.
